October 2 Get consistent sleep

CTV reported that researchers have discovered that catching up on sleep over the weekend does not return your heart rate and blood pressure to normal. According to the study when sleep is restricted to five hours per night during the week it worsens your cardiovascular health, including heart rate and blood pressure. Apparently consistent rest is very important. Did you know in the Bible, Jesus shares about the importance of rest although he is not talking about sleep. He says, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
