Can you believe a twenty-seven year old endurance athlete named Russ Cook completed a 16000 km run last month completing his journey from the southern tip of Africa to the northern most point. Did you know that the Bible speaks about endurance in running but is referring to a spiritual journey for followers of Jesus Christ in becoming like Jesus. It reads, “13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
