Last month, in Germany, a new fire station was destroyed by a fire causing millions of euros in damage. What stood out about this fire was the fact that this brand new fire station did not have a fire alarm system. There was no warning to prevent the tragedy that ensued although a person would of certainly thought there would of been. Thankfully in life God has given us an alarm in His word but not only an alarm but also a way of escape. The warning is found in Romans 3:23 which reads, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The way of escape is shared by Jesus Christ in John 14:6, ““I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
