Last month the Bank of Canada cut its key rate for the fifth consecutive time. It now sits at 3.25 percent. Increased uncertainty in our economic future aided in this interest rate change. This has changed the price of many things. Something that is of infinite worth that has not changed over the years has to do with being able to experience salvation. The reason the price has not changed is that it is a gift, you cannot buy it or earn it. You can only experience it through faith in Jesus Christ. In the Bible it reads, “8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
