With valentines day coming up there are a lot of cards being sold with sentimental saying and pictures of hearts. Did you know that the Bible has something to say about the heart and it is not sentimental but a fundamental commandment about complete devotion to God made possible through Jesus Christ. The book of Matthew provides a record of Jesus being asked what is the greatest commandment of all. His response is “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
