My pastor told me to start with the New Testament, so I did, maybe two years ago. Worked my way through it, then through the Old Testament. Now I’m back in the New Testament. ”If Mr. Washington, not only reads, but heeds the Bible, he will understand what it means when it says, “For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword… and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” And if he sincerely apply its truths, he will find that the Bible has the power to transform lives just as we read, “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.” Why not give it a try. You have everything to gain.”
