The mother and grandmother of Katharine Dines, 46, from Ottawa, both died in their twenties. So, concerned that there was something in her genetic background that could affect her family, she spoke to doctors, who assured her there was nothing to worry about. But after her children came along, she learned that she and her daughters all have Long QT, a genetic heart rhythm disorder. She said “It was a life altering diagnosis.” It severely restricts physical activity. Jesus said, “you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.” When our first parents disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, sin entered the human race. Paul the Apostle explained,”…just as through one man (Adam) sin entered the world, and death through sin, … death spread to all men, because all sinned.” But “Christ died for our sins.”, making it possible to be free from their penalty and their power .
