Olympic Champion Stands up For Jesus April 3, 2017

“Turning my life over to God was a difficult thing because it meant that I had to give Him control of my life.” Those are the words of Canadian Olympic Champion Speed Skater and now broadcaster Catriona Le May Doan. She held the world record in the 500 meter speed skating event for ten years, and was the first woman to break the thirty -eight second 500 meter barrier. LeMay Doan adds, “I learned that life is better when I give everything to God. It’s my relationship with Jesus that gives me true significance.” This remarkable young woman is living proof of Jesus’ promise when He said, “I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” Paul the Apostle added, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.
