Between 2002 and 2014, the number of U.S. residents using antidepressants rose by an astounding 65% according to the National Centre for Health Statistics. If we look at world events, such as recent hurricanes, the North Korean threat, and other world problems, it’s easy to become depressed. So Instead of looking around, it would be wiser to look up to the Heavenly Father, the only One who can help in our troubled world. To become properly connected to Him, we turn to Jesus Who told us, “I am the way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” And when we recognize our inability to earn our way to heaven, and call upon to become our Saviour, He brings us into a proper relationship to God. We can then face all the world sends our way.
