Dr. Simon Greenleaf was the Royal Professor of Law at Harvard University. He was one of the greatest legal minds that ever lived. He wrote the famous legal volume, “A Treatise on the Law of Evidence.” He was also an atheist and believed the resurrection of Christ was a hoax, so he decided to expose what he called the “myth of the Resurrection.” But after thoroughly examining the evidence for the resurrection, Dr. Greenleaf came to the exact opposite conclusion! He wrote, “according to the jurisdiction of legal evidence the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the best supported event in all of history!” As the angel said to the disciples who were seeking Christ’s body, “You seek Jesus Who was crucified. He is not here. He has risen.”
