Many life changing inventions, common today, were initially rejected. In 1834, the precursor of the computer was designed. Yet it did not come into worldwide use until our lifetime. The first fax machine was patented in 1843, but fax machines didn’t come into common use until the late 1980s. The gospel of Christ, proclaiming God’s plan for forgiveness, offering the gift of eternal life, became available when Christ died for our sins. But while millions of lives have been and are being transformed by the power of that gospel through the centuries, most people sadly reject it.
