Dr. Charles Swindoll, Chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas and Founding Director of Insight For Living, now broadcasting on over 2,000 radio stations worldwide has made an interesting observation. He wrote, “You blink 25 times every minute. Each blink takes one-fifth of a second. If you take a ten-hour trip, averaging forty miles an hour, you will drive twenty-miles with your eyes closed. But a fact even more surprising is that some people go through life with their eyes closed. Vision is present, but perception is absent. “Sadly, when it comes to our relationship with Christ, there is one who helps keep our minds blinded. Paul the apostle wrote of Satan as follows. “Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ…should shine on them. Does the Satan you don’t believe exists have you blinded?
