Last month, two boys on the shoreline of the South Saskatchewan River were fortunate a runner by the name of Brad Pilon was passing by when one of them slipped into the water. An eight-year-old boy had slipped into the river and was being swept away by the current. Mr. Pilon went into the water, to retrieve the child, and swam them both back to safety. He was later quoted as saying, it was a case of being in the right place at the right time. The Bible in 2 Corinthians 6:2 it reads, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Do you realize you are in the right place at the right time to get right with God, to receive the salvation God provides? Recognize your need, the need for your sins to be forgiven, trust in the payment Jesus made on the cross for your sins, seek God to enable you to see Him differently and sin differently and live a new life.
