At this present time, the car with the greatest acceleration speed in the world, is the supercharged Ultima Evolution Coup. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds given the right conditions. That is unbelievably fast! Have you ever noticed how an argument can accelerate under the right conditions? It can go from 0-60 very, very quickly. An argument is not something we typically want to see accelerate and we would rather it not take off at all. In the Bible, in the book of Proverbs there is some very practical wisdom that can be applied that can help you from keeping an argument form taking off. In Proverbs 15:1 it reads, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” The right response can stop an argument dead in its tracks.
