D-Day ration pack – July 22

BBC news reported recently that the Keep Military Museum in Dorchester, Dorset is believed to have the last fully intact D-day ration pack. An x-ray was able to determine the pack to contain “the extremely rare assault rations of the Second World War” stated the museum. These packs were the lightweight solutions to providing a soldier with the 4,000 calories he needed a day. Three chocolate bars, 10 biscuits, blocks of tea, sugar and milk were among the items found in the pack. Did you know that Jesus Christ shared about a ration pack that we all need but it is not in the form of food? Matthew 4:4 reads, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Have you been using this ration pack?
