This month there is an auction planned for a hoard of gold coins found in a house that was renovated in Northern England. According to a press release sent to CNN it is one of the biggest hoards of gold coins ever uncovered in Britain. It is estimated to sell for close to three hundred thousand US dollars. Imagine discovering such a treasure. In the Bible Jesus shares a story of a man who found a treasure in a field and then went and sold all that he had to buy the field so he could have the treasure. The treasure pictured is the kingdom of heaven and is of infinite worth but we can actually possess it. Jesus also shared the way into the kingdom. He said in John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the father but by me.
