Last month CNN reported of a rescue on board a Spirit airline flight. There was an infant on the flight that had stopped breathing whose lips had turned blue. There was an announcement that went over the loud speaker inquiring about the possibility of a doctor being on board. Thankfully there was a retired nurse that stepped forward and performed a sternal rub and was able to revive the three month old infant. It was a successful rescue! Did you know there is a rescue shared about in the Bible that is successful for all who receive the help provided? John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
