CNN reported recently how a California man narrowly avoided being crushed by a boulder. He stepped out of his parked car when he received a phone call. Just after stepping out a large boulder fell off the hillside crushing his car. His life could of ended in that moment. Did you know the Bible pictures the briefness of life as being like a vapor? Something that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. The Bible also tells us that through embracing Jesus Christ as our Saviour we can know we will be with Him for eternity. Romans 6:23 reads, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
