Recently a couple in New Hampshire had an amazing find after having a devastating loss. The husband had cleaned up their home and had taken the garbage to the transfer station only to realize hours later that he had thrown out his wife’s wedding rings that she set out for cleaning. Thankfully he was able to narrow the garbage bag down to a 20 ton trailer of garbage at the transfer station. It took time but he finally found them. Imagine the joy! Jesus told a story in the bible about a lost coin that was searched for and found. He likened the event to a spiritual reality. He says, “Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
