A saying that is often quoted this time of year depending on the weather is, “In like a lion and out like a lamb”. It is a saying regarding the month of March that has stood the test of time. One of the earliest citations is from a book written in 1732 containing a number of sayings but others have not held up over time. Did you know there is a saying in the Bible about a lamb that has not only held up over time but is just as relevant today as it was nearly 2000 years ago. It is spoken by John the Baptist in reference to Jesus Christ and what He would accomplish. It reads, “Behold, The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
