It has long been established that obesity is a risk factor for cancer. According to the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, new research indicates that a larger waste circumference is a bigger risk factor than body mass index. Apparently though this application is made for men and not for women. Did you know the Bible points out something that is equally deadly for women and men and what it points out is sin. It is something that everyone deals with. Romans 3:23 reads, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Thankfully later on in the Bible while it reaffirms that tragic reality it also provides a cure that has been made available. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
