Finding the Lost June 8, 2018

“I can’t still believe this is happening …I am so lucky and happy to feel the kindness of people.” Those are the words of Serina Tsubakihara, a college student in Japan, who lost her camera two years ago while scuba diving off the coast of Japan. The camera, still working with pictures intact, was found by school children on a Taipei beach. Did you know that the Bible speaks much about “lost things”, including coins, sheep and people? Because of our fallen spiritual condition, the Bible describes humanity as “lost”, or separated from God. Fortunately, God’s Word informs us, “The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” He did that when He died on Calvary’s cross. When we accept Him as our Saviour, we are no longer “lost”. We become Christians, members of God’s family.
