Authorities seized more than eight tons of marijuana and 325 pounds of cocaine when they discovered a secret drug-smuggling tunnel connecting San Diego California and Tijuana Mexico, to gain riches these smugglers disregarded the law and the harm they do to others, including many young drug addicts. Similarly, often people try to get around God’s laws to gain what they want, while disregarding the clear truth. These smugglers were attempting to get into the United States illegally, but they were discovered. Paul the Apostle warned “Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” And when it comes to trying to sneak into heaven our own way, that won’t work either. We must have a proper relationship with Jesus. He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
