The headline read “Dead Man Walking.” The story described a Summerside PEI man who literally woke up one day in August, to learn that he was considered dead by the Canada Revenue Agency. Fortunately, he is very much alive. Interestingly, according to the Bible, though we may be physically alive, in God’s eyes, we are all spiritually dead, until we receive Christ as Saviour. The Bible describes us all as follows –“And you…who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world…” But, later we read, “But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive with Christ..” ”
