A recent Family Circus cartoon pictures a child doing a head stand, and saying, “Be careful Mommy, you’re walking upside down.” We chuckle, but there is a deeper meaning here. From the child’s perspective, his mother seems to be upside down, when he is the one standing on his head. Most today are taught from childhood that science or education or improved environment have all the answers to society’s problems. Many believe that the Bible is a collection of myths and that God does not exist, except in the mind of the naive and gullible. The Bible responds with the following: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Paul wrote, “…the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them…”
