The English language can be a bit crazy. We park in driveways and drive on parkways. There is no ham in hamburgers. A wise guy is different than a wise man. Often we don’t mean what we say or say what we mean. Not so with the God of the Bible. For example, “There is a way that seems right unto a man, but its end is the way of death.” He warns, “Prepare to meet your God.” Consider finding a Bible-based, Christ-centered church near you. You’ll learn that the Bible is refreshingly sensible. Millions have been transformed by the famous John’s gospel chapter 3, verse 16. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” God always means what He says!
