Atlantic Canada Columnist Russell Wangersky responded to a statement by former Liberal Cabinet Minister Wilson-Raybould. During the SNC Lavelin Group controversy. Ms. Wilson-Raybould said, “…I hope that I have the opportunity to speak my truth.” Mr. Wangersky wrote “There is no “my truth” or “your truth.” there is truth and then there are personal opinions.” He is right on. Many believe that spiritual truth comes in many versions; that there are different and acceptable truths on how to get to heaven. It is true, there are many opinions, but only one truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” This comes from the Bible, God’s truth which “sets us free.” Someone said, “Opinions differ, truth is absolute.”
