BBC news reported how two indigenous boys, ages six and eight, were lost almost four weeks in Brazil’s Amazon Rain Forest but thankfully were found by a local tree cutter. One can only imagine the joy the parents would of felt knowing their children have been found. We love hearing stories that turn out well. Did you know Jesus shared a story of something being lost and then found in the book of Luke? He said, “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
