Recently there was a study that revealed the first-ever record of brain activity during death and the results were very fascinating. Researches had set out to measure the brainwaves of an 87 year old patient who had developed epilepsy. During the neurological recordings the patient suffered an unexpected fatal heart attack offering an unexpected recording of a dying brain. In the 30 seconds before and after the patient died, his brainwaves were the same as those that occur when dreaming or recalling memories. Hence the expression my life flashed before my eyes may not be too far off. Something that we do know about life that is bang on has to do with its length. The Bible reveals that life is like a vapor, it appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
