Recently a moose had fallen through a large snow-covered window well and into the basement of a house in Colorado. Upon discovery, the home owners were left with a huge problem. How do you get a moose out of your basement? Police officers and fire fighters arrived on the scene and the only option was to have a number of people carry the large animal upstairs and released it outside. What a dilemma having to figure out how to remove a moose from one’s basement. There is a spiritual dilemma everyone faces that is of an infinitely more important manner. It has to do with the removal of one’s sin. In relation to having sorrow for one’s sins and seeking to turn from them through trusting in Jesus Christ as ones Savior 1 John 1:9 reads, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
