Recently a fisherman who was bitten by a shark near Bahamas was pulled to safety by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter after a crewmember tightened a tourniquet around his arm. Sean Connett, command duty officer at Coast Guard District 7 was quoted as saying, “This individual was fortunate a fellow crew member was able to render aid prior to the Coast Guard’s arrival which, allowed for a quick extraction from the vessel.” Due to the actions of another this individual was saved. Did you know the Bible makes it known that due to the actions of another you can be saved? John 3:16 reads, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
